Kannada Actor Sanchari Vijay Passes Away After Road Accident, Hospital Issues Statement
National Award-winning actor Sanchari Vijay has passed away, the Bengaluru hospital confirmed after tributes over the death were shared a day before.
Days after meeting with an accident, actor Sanchari Vijay passed away in Bengaluru on Tuesday morning. The National Award-winning Kannada film actor had met with an accident on Friday, and had suffered serious head and leg injuries. He was 37.

Vijay breathed his last at the Apollo Hospital in Bengaluru and the hospital issued a statement on the death, "Sanchari Vijay expired today, 15-06-2021 at 3:34 am."
Reports of Sanchari Vijay’s death had surfaced on Monday afternoon. This was after his brother Siddhesh Kumar stated that the doctors informed them about very ‘slim’ chances of his revival. He even went on to say that they would be donating his organs.
Karnataka Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa and Kannada superstar Sudeep were among those who had expressed their grief.
Sanchari Vijay Biography
Sanchari Vijay is an actor in Kannada cinema. He is also a very versatile Theatre actor from the Sanchari Theatre, a culture centre and unique theatre, which is also popular as an elegant drama troupe.
Vijay won the 2014 National Film Award for Best Actor for the transgender role in the film Naanu Avanalla Avalu. Harivu, another Vijay film Harivu, won the National Film Award for Best Feature Film for Kannada language.
Death
Sanchari Vijay met accident on June 12, 2021 at Bengaluru and he had admitted to Apollo hospital in Bannerghatta Road. On June 14, 2021 Vijay died due to heavy brain damage and went to coma, he did not respond to the treatment and Vijay family has donated his organs after his death.
