Festivals on Purnima 2021

Here is list of festivals observed on 2021 Purnima dates.

• Shakambhari Purnima(Thursday, 28 January): Paush Purnima is also known as Shakambhari Purnima. Shankabhari Devi is worshiped on this day.
• Magha Purnima(Saturday, 27 February): Bathing and donating the Ganges on Magha Purnima eradicates all sins of a person. It is believed that on the day of Magha Purnima, Lord Vishnu himself comes to bathe in the river Ganges.
• Chhoti Holi and Holika Dahan(Sunday, 28 March): On auspicious Phalguna Purnima, Holika Dahan is celebrated. Dol Purnima, Chaitanya Mahaprabhu Jayanti is also observed on this day.
• Hanuman Jayanti(Tuesday, 27 April): The birthday of Lord Hanuman is observed on Chaitra Purnima. Lord Hanuman is followed by many people and is worshiped with a lot of devotion. People chant Hanuman Chalisa 108 times together in a gathering and remember his contributions.

Purnima Vrat- पूर्णिमा व्रत

पूर्णिमा के दिन लोग सुबह जल्दी उठते हैं और व्रत अनुष्ठान शुरू करते हैं। इन दिनों गंगा या अन्य पवित्र नदियों में स्नान किया जाता है। इसके बाद लोग शिव लिंगम में जल चढ़ाने के साथ-साथ अन्य देवी-देवताओं की पूजा करते हैं। इस दिन भगवान विष्णु की भी पूजा की जाती है। कहा जाता है कि इस दिन कई लोग भगवान सत्यनारायण व्रत का पालन करते हैं। साथ ही किसी जरूरतमंद व्यक्ति या ब्राह्मण को भोजन कराने के बाद दान करें। जैसे - विशेष रूप से तिल, गुड़, कंबल या ऊनी वस्त्र दान में दें।

Significance of Purnima Vrat- पूर्णिमा व्रत का महत्व

पूर्णिमा के दिन अत्यधिक शुभ होते हैं। पूर्णिमा पर गंगा में स्नान करने से आपको खूब सारी खूबियां मिलती हैं। यह माना जाता है कि यदि हम इस दिन विशिष्ट अनुष्ठानों का पालन करते हैं, तो मानव जीवन के सभी कष्ट समाप्त हो जाएंगे। ज्योतिषीय दृष्टि कोण के अनुसार भी यह दिन बहुत खास माना जाता है। यदि चंद्रमा किसी की कुंडली में कमजोर है; उसे एक उपाय के रूप में पूर्णिमा व्रत का पालन करना चाहिए। पूर्णिमा व्रत समृद्धि और सुख के साथ संपन्न होता है।
